Sometimes to much water can make the fishing a little tough and today we experienced just that. Bill, Mel and Glen met me at Pete's Pier for a 1/2 day Crystal River charter and once we reached the gulf, we had a stiff breeze coming out of the West. We stayed inshore and tried our luck for some trout, but only had a keeper and a handful of shorts for the first hour of fishing. The full moon is right now and between the wind and the major tide, we had some serious high water. We gave it our all and did catch a couple red fish, but only one made it in the slot. I always enjoy you guys on the boat and look forward to seeing you soon. Here's Glen with his Ozello red... Capt. Dan
