I had a fun afternoon 1/2 day Crystal River Charter today with Gene, Linda and Michael on board. For some guaranteed action, we ran offshore with perfect conditions and fished some hard bottom structures for a mixed bag variety. Grouper, mackerel, snapper, sea bass, grunts, cobia and a special catch, a lookdown filled out our afternoon. We released most of the catch, except for a handful of grunts and sea bass for tonight's dinner. The water was crystal clear, like looking into an aquarium and watching the fish eat our shrimp.
