P7220647Wow! What an awesome day and for today's clients first time saltwater fishing, they got to see it all. Mark and Mary Beth met me at Pete's Pier and once again, I ran offshore to the rocks and ledges for some outstanding bottom fishing action. We fished a little deeper today and caught a great variety of grouper, cobia, grunts, snapper, flounder, sea bass, mackerel and sharks. Just a live shrimp on a jig head was the bait of choice. After a cooler full of groceries off the rocks, we ran a bit farther offshore and  picked up a couple keeper trout. While we were jigging for trout a large school of jack crevelle came through and it was three on at a time. It was total chaos, and it even got crazier when the sharks came through and bit our jacks in half. It really makes you appreciate how awesome large sharks are especially when they get in to a feeding frenzy. It was a day to remember and thank you both for a fun time. Here is Mark and Mary Beth with a cobia from today's trip... Capt. Dan
