We did the Homosassa special today and this consists of part of the day scalloping and the other half red fishing. I was at the Homosassa Fishing Club and it was father and son teams today. I had Alex and Hunter on board and these young men were ready to go. We started the day loading up on scallops and in a couple hours, we had our 6 gallon limit. By noon, the tide was rushing in, so we spent the afternoon catching a few red fish. We had to move around some to find them, but the guys caught their limit and released some under and over slot fish. A combination of cut lady fish and live shrimp was today's baits of choice. Thank you both for a fun day and here is a Homosassa red just under the 30" mark released to fight another day... Capt. Dan
