Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

We were blessed to avoid hurricane Irene, but she still sent some windy conditions our way. Nancy and Robert joined me today out of Pete's Pier for some back country fishing. We began the morning trying to make a drift for some trout. While we did catch some shorts, it was just to rough to keep trying. Our next plan was to get in the creeks and find some red fish. The reds were there and in just a couple stops, we boated 9 reds and my anglers had their limit. A free lined shrimp was the bait of choice and it was a good decision to get out of the wind.
