Dr. Phillip Marks from Sanibel Island joined me for an early jump on the Labor day weekend red fish. We left from Pete's Pier at sun up and with the tide just turning to go out, the red fish bite was on. Free lining live shrimp in the mullet schools was our bait of choice and in a couple stops, we boated 8 beautiful red fish. We put a couple in the cooler and called it a day.
