A Red Labor Day Monday. Sept. 5th 2011 Featured

P9050734Windy conditions out of Crystal River today, but we had one outstanding red fish bite.  Having three John's on board out of Pete's Pier marina, we made the best of the condtions and tucked back in to the creeks. We fished the first two hours of the out going tide and my crew boated eleven beautiful red fish. A free lined shrimp once again was today's bait of choice. After the great red fish action, we made one drift and caught several trout with a few keepers mixed in. DOA deadly combos rigged with the 3" holographic watermelon shrimp was the hot color of the day. The winds kicked up close to 20mph out of the south, so we called it a day. Thanks guys for the fun morning and hope to see you soon... Capt. Dan
