It was day three and the final day for the Maddox party, and John Jr. was my guest on board. Myself and Capt. Zorn ran south and began the day picking up some nice trout. The short trout were keeping us busy, but every now and then a keeper would get mixed in. The tide was turning around 11am, so it was back north to the red fish schools. The big bulls showed up today and on our first stop, we had a school over twenty just feet away from the boat. John immediately hooked up on a spoon and I on a DOA jerk bait and we repeated this a couple times. The schools cruised through and it was awesome while it lasted. We finished up the day catching a few more trout and headed back to the club. Thanks to you all for a fun couple days and look forward to seeing you again soon... Capt. Dan
