Mangrove snapper, Spanish mackerel, grunts, trout and flounder; what an awesome day. Bill, Jerry and Mel joined me today out of Pete's Pier marina and we were offshore bound to the rock piles. With the full moon still hovering overhead, I knew the snapper would be cooperative. We put 13 keeper mangos in the cooler and all were well over the 10" mark. The rest of the species filled out the day and just a live shrimp on a 1/8oz Hank Brown jig head was the tackle of choice. We finished up the day catching a few trout on DOA deadly combos, and another perfect charter out of Crystal River. Thanks guys for the outstanding day and enjoy your fish dinners... Capt. Dan
