A good incoming tide, mullet schools over the rocks and a live shrimp; will just about guarantee a red fish hook up. Joe, Jonathan, Wilson and Bo experienced this first had today with me out of Crystal River. We left the marina, killed a little time catching a few trout while the tide was getting right, and then found our red fish schools. We boated 13 beautiful red fish, kept our limit and released all the rest unharmed. Using 4/0 circle hooks and a free lined live shrimp was the bait of the day. We picked up a couple more trout and chased the mackerel schools to fill out the afternoon. It was just about a perfect day as one could hope for and I thank you all very much. Here's the crew with today's catch... Capt. Dan
