If yesterday wasn't tough enough, I think we had wind gusts to 30mph today. It was our second day at the Homosassa Fishing Club and myself and fellow Homosassa Guides Association Captains Mark Zorn, Rick Spratt, William Toney and Charlie Harris put our clients on some more beautiful Trout. I had Jimmy, George and English on board and between catching 8 keeper trout before our shore lunch, the boat rocking and on and off rain drizzles; we had a good time. Using a new bait today the Mirrolure shad tail jig in the root beer color, rigged on a 1/8th oz DOA chartreuse jig head caught all the fish today. At noon we ran to the island and another fantastic shore lunch was in the books. Capt. Spratt did a special treat for a group today, with some superb grilled red fish to top it off. It was a fun couple days with the 14 person party and here's Jimmy with today's big gator trout... Capt. Dan
