Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

With the Mrs.'s off for spring break, we took out the skiff, put some time on the new engine and caught some trout. The new Mercury engines have a very simple break in time and basically just a couple hours of running at mid range RPM's and varying the throttle every couple of minutes; it's good to go. After an hour or so of running the river, we ran south in the skinny water and caught some real healthy shallow water trout. Using DOA glow 5.5" jerk baits, the wife and I caught and released well over our limit of slot and over slot trout and watched them all swim away to be caught another day. The new skiff runs fantastic and I couldn't be more happier. Here's Becky with one of the larger trout of the day... Capt. Dan
