Finally a full day of sunshine, no rain and absolutely beautiful conditions. I was out of Macrae's on the Homosassa River today with fellow Homosassa Guides Association Captain's William Toney and Don Chancey. We had the pleasure of fishing our annual group trip and I had Jack, Craig and Jim on board and the trout fishing for us today was great. We ran to the 4ft depth range and found some great trout action on the spotty bottom areas off St. Martins Keys. DOA root beer holographic shrimp was our bait of choice, under a oval deadly combo cork for our 1/2 day trip. All the boats had a fine catch and I thank everyone for seeing us again year after year... Capt. Dan
