Homosassa Cobia & Grouper...

Written by
It was another hot one today offshore Homosassa and we caught a nice mixed bag of Cobia, grouper, sea bass and trout. Bill, Christy and Andy joined me today out of Macrae's and we were offshore bound to find some hard fighting grouper. We made a quick stop at the Bonnie the bait lady to fill the live well full of pin fish to start our day and our next stop was anchoring up on some ledges and fighting some grouper. The grouper action was good in the 17ft range and another nice cobia surprised us for an added bonus for our trip. While offshore we also tried for some deep water trout and caught quite a few, but only one keeper was added to the mix. I thank you all for the fun time and sticking it out in the hot conditions. Here's Christy with her first cobia and congratulations... Capt. Dan
