Dodging Storms & Homosassa Trout...

Written by
A tricky start to this mornings charter and the Peregrine family was very patient with me as we dodged some storms. We left from Macrae's on the Homosassa river just after 7am and unfortunately, we really couldn't get where we wanted to until after 11am. Two big storm cells slowed us down and with all the down time, we lost the red fishing tide. However, the trout bite was pretty decent off St. Martins Keys. Lots of action with primarily under slot trout, but we managed several keepers through out the mix to end our day strong. I thank you guys for all your patience and enjoy tomorrows nights fish fry...
