"Speck"-tacular Crystal River Trout...

Written by
The sunshine finally returned today after almost a week of cold, dreary, overcast skies. I had the pleasure of having the Coleman family on board and the trout bite was stellar once again. We left a little later today to fish the afternoon incoming tide and it turned out to be a great decision. The little bit of morning action however, was non existent and the gulf was slick as glass. We only put one keeper trout in the box before noon and the tide couldn't come fast enough. Finally, the tide started rolling in and particularly the last two hours of the incoming was fantastic. We had several doubles on and just about every trout was a keeper sized fish. We finished the day strong and I thank you all for the great day... Capt. Dan
