Skinny Water Trout in the Silver King...

Written by
I had the pleasure of having Todd on board from North Carolina and with him being solo, we took out the Silver King skiff today. It worked out great and with increasing NW winds, we tucked way in the back country of Ozello. We had a little bit of tide to work with before it became dry back there it hopes of sight casting some red fish. Well, they were few and far between and the couple that we saw, had no interest what so ever in taking a bait. So for plan B, we targeted my favorite inshore species the speckled trout. The trout action was very good and just about every fish was in the upper slot range. DOA and MirrOlure jerk baits were the ticket and I thank you for the fun day. Here's Todd with a beautiful Ozello trout... Capt. Dan
