I ended the year at the Homosassa Fishing Club fishing the Green and O'Kelly party. Today was another chilly start, but not nearly as bad as yesterday. Melanie, Clarke and Bo joined for this years last day charter. Captains Zorn, Cox and Spratt were also on the trip and the morning action out of Homosassa for us was nearly non existent. Another extremely low tide and a 56 degree water temperature, didn't have the fish in a feeding mood. My crew saw and sight casted to several schools of trout in some very shallow water, but the fish showed no interest it our numerous offerings. After a slow morning, we proceeded to a fine mid day shore lunch and the team prepared another Homosassa special. My crew and the other Captains finished strong and we had a decent catch of trout and sheepshead to end our day. It was two tough days of fishing and I thank the entire group for all your hard work and as always look forward to your next visit. Here's Bo with the last keeper trout for 2012... Capt. Dan
