It was Hail Mary time for us today, but we found the big one's with a couple minutes left on the clock. I had the Lloyd family on board out of Crystal River and they were in town for spring break. The conditions couldn't allow us to run offshore, so we stayed in close and covered a lot of ground. The bite was slow for us most of the day and we saw some fish that wouldn't cooperate and unfortunately; we were also cut off by some dolphins who had eating our trout on their minds as well. Finally, I said hold on folks, were making a run. I made a long run up to the North and in less than an hour, eight hefty trout ranging from 18" to 22" saved the day.
