Crystal River Gags & Snook....

A really nice day and it was cool one going down the river this morning with temperatures is the 50's. Our first cold snap has arrived and it sure felt good. I had Ricky and Bobby on board and we had a really fun day finding some gags and snook. We began the trip dropping down on some ledges and the guys did a terrific job turning some keeper gags; with no break offs or lost fish. Four grouper made their way in the cooler and we even found a pair of snook on the way home to top off the day. I thank you both and great job... Capt. Dan

Grouper, Snook & Cobia...

A really great day offshore with Steve on board and he was all by himself to enjoy the day. We caught awesome fish bottom fishing with nice gags, keeper cobia and some whopper spawning snook. Live pinfish was the deal, and for his first trip offshore, he had a great one. Thank you for the fun time and hope to see you next time.... Capt. Dan

Big Snooks...

Some really whopper snook with Bob on board today and he did an awesome job. We got set up right at the tide was turning, presented our baits and "wham" fish on. We had an hour of steady action with close to a dozen snook and a pair of really nice mid slot red fish. Bob had a whopper right around 40" and it was an awesome fight. I did make a run offshore to check on my permit spot and they are there. I presented a perfect small crab to them, but they didn't commit this time. I'll try them again soon and hopefully land one.... Capt. Dan

Will the wind ever stop!!!! Well, it kind of did today and I was about to make it offshore, but it was bumpy. I had Chris on board by himself and we had a ton of fun. We caught some really nice grouper, small cobia and then hit the snook. My intention was to try for a cobia, but just one little guy; but there were tons of grouper around. The snook bite for the afternoon was superb and we totaled about a dozen, before we called it a day. A fun day buddy and I thank you.... Capt. Dan

Birthday Snook & Reds...

Always a super fun time with Amanda, Alyse and their dad Tom and today was the twins birthday. The girls had a awesome trip and they caught some fine snook and slot reds. I did try to poke offshore, but it was just to windy. So we made it happen on the inside. We kept a few reds, released the snooks and I thank you all for the great day... Capt. Dan

Snook and Reds....

Always a fun day with Tim and Jeanne on board and today we caught some fine snook and some little reds. I pulled my bait traps in the very rough conditions this morning and hoping to get offshore for some cobia, but it was just to rough to do so. So, for plan B, we stayed on the inside and had some steady red fish action on the first stop, but they were all little guys. The tide was topping off on the high side and we finished the afternoon with some fine catch and release snook action. A fun day with you both and I thank you.... Capt. Dan

Awesome Team....

What an awesome team with Carrie, Sabrina and Ashley on board and these ladies came to play. We did a mix offshore and inshore and the ladies stayed busy. Some of the best cobia action I've seen in a while, with 5 coming on board and some beauty gags too. A 32" cobia and a hefty gag grouper got eaten by a jew fish boat side, which added to a long tug of war. The tide was topping off inshore, so we hit a couple points and caught some really nice snook and a couple red fish to add to the already awesome trip. You all were great and terrific job... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Snook....

Another great day on the Racin' mullets with long time friend Matt and his grandson Rhett. We mixed it up today with some grouper and snook action. Getting groceries weren't the main concern, so we just had some fun pulling on fish. I set the guys up on a shallow ledge and four nice gags came on board for a picture and release. Next up we ran inshore, hit a school of snook and had a really great afternoon. Everybody was happy and I thank you both for the great day... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Snookin'....

A fun day with some new clients on board and Bill and Kim had a super day. They both requested snook and a species they haven't caught and I delivered. We had to wait a bit for the tide to get right, so we jigged up some trout while we waited for the tide to come in. Around 1pm it was getting good, so we headed East and set up on a point and had some awesome snook action. We totaled over a dozen snook for the afternoon and they sure had a great trip. I thank you both and great job... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Trout & Snook...

A really fun couple on board today and very good fisherman - Keith and Tiffany were the crew. We started off the day and it was breezy once again, trout fishing and jigged up 8 real nice fish for the first couple hours of the day. The bite was a little slower than yesterday, but still a good mix on action. We changed gears, hit the points and totaled 10 fine snook to bend the rod for the afternoon. You both were great and I thank you... Capt. Dan
