It sure was good to be back offshore and thank you all for hanging in there with the lack of reports. The last two weeks weather wise has been terrible for the grouper season and the inshore has been fair with the cold water. I did fish the Homosassa Fishing Club the last two days and I'm sorry, but didn't have anything to report. Myself and several other guides caught fish, but everything was on the short side; except for Capt. Z and he found a pair of nice keeper red fish in the river. Today however, was absolutely perfect and I was able to make the run offshore and troll up some gags. I had the Russell family on board and in a matter of seconds, we had a grouper on. The rest of the day was just as good and in two locations, we had our six fish limit. I anchored and added some grunts to the mix and the team had an awesome day.
