It's been a very tough grouper season so far, but things are looking better. It's not that we're all not catching fish, but the 24" size change is a real game changer. I had Dave, Stephen and Alex on board and we went ledge jumping all day and picked up grouper along the way. It was a live bait bite for us and palm sized pin fish did the trick. The guys turned a couple keepers, had a few get the best of us and landed several shorts. As we get in to the coming weeks, the action will improve and the fall season will be here before we know it.
