A fun day with Mike, Scott and Steve on board and we did a little inshore and offshore fishing. The red fish bite kicked off our day and it was pretty good. We jumped around on the outside points and found a handful of keepers and several shorts to start or day. Free lined live shrimp in the mullet schools were the baits of the day for the red fish and they worked just great. The next stop was grouper land. I ran to some of my north numbers and we caught a couple, but it was slow compared to what it should have been right now. The team caught some trolling and bottom fishing - however I hope we get a cold front soon to really turn them on.
