Reds before the Storm..

Written by

This was the last trip I'll get in until Hurricane Irma passes. I hope and pray everyone stays safe in the next couple days, and damage will be minimum as possible. For today though, the Coleman team was with me and we caught some trout and some fine afternoon red fish. The trout bite was OK with lots of small fish using cork rigs and it's a good sign fall is coming. The hot bite though was the afternoon red fish action and on the incoming tide, the action was great. I used cut lizard fish "the Homosassa secret weapon" and soon as the baits hit the water; the rods were bent. A great day to finish up in preparation of the storm and everyone please be safe... Capt.
