Carter and John joined me today for day two of our three day group charter and the trout bite today was hot. We got our start just after 8am and made a run south to some shallow kelp beds and the trout were in a feeding mood. It was very good action and we used a different colored DOA shrimp, the fire tiger color and with the water off color, it worked great. We had our trout limit, but red fishing was a little tough and only could find one keeper to add to the mix. It was a fantastic day and beautiful weather to top it off.
