Breezy and overcast skies were today's conditions out of Crystal River. Jim, Bob and Mel were my guest and we began today's Crystal River charter catching a couple salt river red fish. We pulled up to one of my favorite oyster bars, free lined some live shrimp and it was fish on. We caught a couple nice keepers with one being just under the 27" mark. Our next stop was drifting off the keys and the guys had a great catch of trout. Once again, root beer and bourbon colored Lil' Johns were the ticket under DOA deadly combo cork rigs.
