Back Offshore Crystal River Trout...

Written by
We made the run to the spotty bottom areas off Crystal River today and the trout were very cooperative. I had two guests from Europe on board today and they experienced not only a beautiful day, but some excellent fishing. The trout action was steady all morning with several keepers coming on board and eventually, we reached our limit of healthy speckled trout. Bourbon colored Lil' Johns and motor oil DOA cal shad tails were the baits of choice. The usual mixed catch of sharks, sea bass, lady fish, etc... kept us quite busy. On the way in we stopped along "the wall" and picked up a keeper red fish to end our trip. I can't thank you both enough for such a great day and I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay. Here's Graham and his wonderful girlfriend with a fine catch... Capt. Dan
