Wow!!! Another great day with Bill and Hazel on board and we had an awesome day. The trip began targeting red fish and the bite was on. We made two stops and caught over twenty red fish. Most were under slot, but a couple were mid slot fish and all were released. The weather was absolutely perfect, so for our next species, we made a run to grouper land and trolled up a limit of fine keeper sized gags on Rapala CD 14's. The grass wasn't bad today and trolling was a breeze. To top off the day, we caught and released several trout off the bars with DOA deadly combos and we called it a day. A great day today with Bill and Hazel on board and we had a blast doing a catch and release trip. I picked the couple up at their home on the Crystal River and got a jump on the outgoing tide for red fish. We hit two points and did great. Nine slot sized red fish were released, plus a few little guys on free lined live shrimp. Trout were going to be our afternoon target and they bit well. I found one small area that was holding them good and we must have caught over fifty. DOA glow shrimp were the ticket for the trout and I thank you both for the outstanding day... Capt. Dan
