Crystal River Inshore Variety
I had a father and son team on board today out of Crystal River, and Bill Jr. and Sr. had a great day. With a perfect morning incoming tide, we began the day catching several back country red fish on Pete's Piers finest live shrimp. We boated nine reds, made a quick run south and started picking up some very nice trout. Using a combination of Mirrolure Lil' Johns and DOA shrimp, the guys had some great trout action in the shallow water. For the last stop of the day, we targeted the rock piles and found a few Spanish mackerel and sea bass willing to bend our rods before we called it a day.
