Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

Some exciting tarpon charters to end the week, but they were on and off so fast I couldn't get a picture. This week I had the Brue couple on board and the next day the Short family, and both days we had some great tarpon action. Tarpon were rolling all around us and on a few occasions all we had was a quick take or jump and the DOA bait busters came sailing back to us. As many of you know the tarpon mouth is extremely hard and the hook has to set just right. One large tarpon in the 150lb range with the Brue family was on for about 5 minutes, but came unbuttoned as it was coming towards the boat. Just seeing the fish and having some shots sometimes makes the day for a tarpon charter. I thank both families for a fun and very memorable couple of days and look forward to seeing you again soon...
