The fan was on high today and "wow" was it ever blowing. Tony was my solo guest in the Silver King and we stayed out of the wind the best we could. We spent the day using glow and Arkansas glow colored jerk baits for a couple snook and a red fish. The bite was off a bit and positioning the boat was challenging, but we still caught some good ones. Always a fun time with Tony Sans the one and only, and I thank you buddy... Capt. Dan
A terrific day out of Homosassa with Ott and Steve and they had a blast. We started the day with cork rigs catching some really fine trout off the keys. Root beer colored Lil' Jons were the ticket and we put a limit of ten fish on ice. We waited for the tide a bit and rounded up the afternoon tackling some snook and red fish to have the Homosassa slam. I thank you both and awesome job... Capt. Dan
My first cobia trip of the year and Bob and John did well. I haven't been out to target them yet, so I had to do some moving around, but we found them. We sent down some live baits on some ledges and we caught a really nice keeper around the 38" mark. The new regulation now is 36" to the fork from the previous 33" size. The guys were happy with the cobia and we ended the afternoon with a couple fine snook. I thank you and great job.... Capt. Dan
Just a couple weeks away and it will be tarpon season. With this lousy weather, fishing has been tough and I've had to cancel some trips. However, I'm making the best of it and filling the fly box and getting tarpon ready. There have been a few fish around early, but with the winds we've been having, I haven't been able to see if they're still there. The fly rods are getting rigged, the skiff has new batteries _ I'm ready.... Stay tuned and I'll see you on the water soon as this weather clears... Capt. Dan
