Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

Another successful couple of days out of Homosassa. Myself and Captains Mark Zorn, William Toney, Charlie Harris, Rick Spratt, Gary Cox, Jody Johnson and Kyle Messier fished the Dodson party to over a 110 keeper trout and several redfish for and outstanding weekend. Saturday brought overcast skies and a surprising NE breeze which gave us all a sense that there was a hint of fall in the air. The trout bite was quite good and we had 9 keepers and a mixed bag of a few other species before we pulled up to the island for a great shore lunch. Sunday the the sun came out and so did the redfish. All the boats found redfish measuring from under slot to over slot. My boat had the prize for the redfish with the most spots -- having 12. We finished up the day with 11 keeper trout, some sea bass and the usual mixed bag of other species. The ever reliable DOA glow shrimp was the preferred bait and it was nice to see the gulf had cooled down considerably from the weeks previous rain.
