The trout bite was on today and even though is was a little breezy, we did fantastic. I had Jim and Mike on board again for day two, of their second day charter and we found the big ones. The tide was extremely low this morning, so we ran a little offshore and fished the deeper grass flats off Homosassa. We didn't have the high numbers like we did yesterday, but the size average was definitely better. It was a great day with our 15 keeper trout; three being over 20" and releasing a few others in the slot. A few Spanish mackerel and even a respectable sized silver trout helped fill out the day. The DOA cal silver mullet paddle tail jig was the go to bait today. Thank you both for a very memorable couple days of fishing and look forward to seeing you in the future... Capt. Dan
