Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

I think today's heat hit a record for the hottest day charter, so far...  Steve and Travis joined me for a day of inshore fishing out of Crystal River. We began the day targeting some trout and had some great action, but mostly shorts for the majority of the trout we caught. The few keepers we had were quality sized fish and the new penny gulp was the only bait working today. Our next stop was to find some red fish and I delivered. At the the first two points there were no takers, but on the third stop, it was fish on. In short order we had our limit and a free lined shrimp did the trick. It was definitely a hot one, but the guys fished hard, had a bucket full of fish and another fun day on the water. Here is Travis with the big trout of the day... Capt. Dan
