Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

A very good 1/2 day charter this morning with Eric and Josie on board and this father and daughter team did great. I picked up the family at the Plantation on Crystal River just after 8am, and we had fish on; right out of the gate. The jacks and lady fish were harassing the bait fish in the bay and we immediately had hooks ups. Always fun to pull on both species, but we left them and headed on down the river. I anchored on one of my favorite river rock piles in the river and the red fish were on fire. We caught numerous red fish with just a shrimp on a jig head. While most were shorts; we had some keeper sized too. To end the day, we topped off the trip with some fine sized sea bass on a shallow rock and then headed back to the dock.
