Florida Sportsman Grouper Diggin'. Nov. 9th 2011 Featured

PB090955I had a great friend and very respected angler on board today; Capt. Tommy Thompson from Florida Sportsman and the Florida Outdoor Writers Association joined me today for a Crystal River grouper trip. Tommy is featuring Crystal River in a future story and wanted to target some gag grouper. We trolled up some beautiful grouper in depths ranging from 12ft to 25ft and introduced me to a new trolling lure. The Mirrolure deep diving plugs impressed me very much and the grouper found them irresistable. It was a very fun day and I thank you very much. Here's our catch and tonight's grouper dinner... Capt.
