With an approaching weather change on it's way, you could tell the trout were in a feeding mood. The lowering pressure before a major storm usually turns the bite on and in today's case; Ron, Bart and John were today's lucky anglers to experience it. We left from Pete's Pier Marina after 9am and fished the best part of the incoming and outgoing tide. The trout were scatted on various structures ranging from oyster bars, shallow rocks and the "yellow" hard bottom areas with kelp grass. DOA deadly combo rigs with glow shrimp, jerk baits and root beer MirrOlure Lil' Johns were the baits of choice. It was some great fishing and some quality trout were brought to the boat. I thank you all for the fun day and congratulations on a fine catch... Capt. Dan
