Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

It was a day that I probably would have canceld if I had local clients, but today was the Homosassa Fishing Club Jamboree and these anglers were ready to fish. Traveling from Atlanta - Edward, David and Worth were on board and even though it was choppy and white capping, the trout bite was on and I'm glad we gave it a try. We used the islands to our advantage to block some of the North wind and we made a series of drifts, while adding a couple trout each pass. The hot colors today were glow and watermelon, and all the jigs were rigged on a 1/16th oz jig head. The guys put their limit of beautiful Homosassa trout in the cooler and I can't thank you all enough for toughing it out. Congragulations on having a great catch and we'll do it again next year...
